In this reflective work, Reinier Garcia captures the essence of the individual's internal struggle through burnt elements and expressive details. The combination of burnt paper and writing enhances the human figure, increasing the tension and drama of the image. The piece addresses existence and the pressures that progressively burn away dreams and desires, leading to abandonment and loss of hope. Garcia's work is a deep exploration of human nature, its variables and the impact of external influences, leaving the viewer to reflect on their own being and decisions. The work involves anonymous notes created by students of a Secondary School, using the method of the 10 wishes. If some of them were truly expressed, we will never know but thanks to his writings, this work of art was born.
