This work by artist Reinier García takes us on an exploration of the secret lives of enigmatic characters through a meticulous use of surrealist drawing. Created in 2006, the piece employs contrasting textures and tonal values to immerse viewers in a world full of mystery and symbolism. Masks, falsehood, manipulation and beauty combine in a visual representation that captures the essence of infidelity. Each detail invites us to reflect on the complexity of human relationships and the internal struggle of the characters, who find relief in betrayal while relegating to the background the people who give light to their lives. This work is not only a portrait, but a window into a universe of dualities and contradictions.
