This artwork belongs to the series of artworks dedicated to the War in Ukraine. I wanted to depict the feeling of emptiness I have every time then I think about the things that still going. The emptiness often has the same shape as someone's destroyed house.
Yulia, a 22-year-old Ukrainian artist, works in surrealism. Born in a currently occupied territory, she was forced to endure many trials, which had a profound impact on her art. In her artworks, Yulia explores complex emotions connected with struggle, losses, and the search for inner balance. Her works are an attempt to find beauty amidst chaos and inspire others to seek their own path.
