About the artist

The style of my works can be described as decorative mystical realism with elements of neo-romanticism. I use hardboard, canvas, wood, and paper as surfaces for my works. Regardless of whether it is painting or graphics, I use acrylic and oil paints, decorative enamels, pencils, and pastels. I create this type of art because I feel my calling in this activity. I can't help but be creative. I've been doing it almost every day my whole life. Creating works of art is the main activity of my life. Inspiration comes to me when contemplating something beautiful, harmonious, significant. This could be any work of fine art, sculpture, architecture, or music, or cinema, or literature, or walks in parks, or in the wild. It can also be a deep meditation or religious experience. I like such a large number of completely different artists, from the Paleolithic to the present day, that a list of them would take up a lot of space here. Moreover, over time, my tastes change and what I liked and admired just recently may suddenly stop admiring and vice versa. In short, in chronological order: cave frescoes of Lascaux and Altamira, Ancient Greece, Mesopotamia, some of the ethnic art of Africa, the European Middle Ages, the early Italian Renaissance, Flemings, Dutch and Germans of the 14th-17th centuries, ars nouveau, art deco, Picasso , Klee, Miro, German expressionism, Russian avant-garde of the 20th century, Pollock, Basquiat, Haring... :) I have always worked and intend to continue working, creating more and more new works of art: interior paintings, paintings, graphics, sculpture, relief panel What led me to a career as an artist was the realization that, in addition to literary creativity, drawing and painting are the best things I can do. In the future, I see myself as an internationally recognized master, a full-fledged participant in the movement of the history of world art. In fact, I already am. It’s just that few people know about me yet. Sometimes it takes a while for people to recognize something new and valuable as something new and valuable.
