The focus series is aimed at asking the question of why we tend to "focus" on things at the center of our lives: hardships, problems, and even adversities. It explains how that leads us to this never-ending abyss of fear, doubt, and mental suffering. We tend to lose sight of the beauty surrounding these negative focal points. On the flip side of the coin, overfocusing on things also has its negative effects. When we are obsessed with behaviors, patterns, and things used to numb our pain, we fall into the trap of isolation and inherent loneliness. I aim to spark a conversation around why this seems to be the default behavior of most people. My form of expression combines the use of abstract forms, colors, and patterns to translate my message, and most importantly, draw the view into view this narrative
