About the artist

Viktoriia Tesliuk was Born in 1993 in the town of Pochaiv, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine. She has dreamt of becoming a painter since childhood. She studied at Taras Shevchenko Regional Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy of Kremenets (Ternopil Oblast), the Faculty of Fine Arts. She lives and works in the city of Khmelnytskyi. Viktoriia holds 3–4 personal exhibitions per year, also participates in team exhibitions, charity projects and competitions. The first of her exhibitions took place as far back as she was a student. The painter depicts flowers, landscapes and abstractions. Her works are performed in original technique with acrylic and oil dyes. The main expressive means is colour and light. The ratio of colours and hues creates the effect of glittering, which conveys vividness of nature and its flavour. Viktoriia considers that paintings should convey the beautiful, reveal something that people usually do not notice in everyday life, attract attention to the beauty of nature. There’s enough negative things in the reality, so paintings, as she believes, should be something you enjoy seeing, they have to awake your subconsciousness for pleasure.
