Pink peonies in vase

I paint a lot of pictures on a floral theme. I am inspired by the flowers that grow in my garden. In this picture, i captured the peonies of this summer. I wrote them in a pasty technique, with the maximum effect of presence. The work was done with a palette knife. I cover all the paintings with varnish to protect them from dust in the future.
