Sent in a pvc tube with certificates and more. Funes' conceptual research is linked to femininity but is not limited to it: attention to gesture, mood, and occasion become the common thread of her personal interpretation of beauty, pleasure and sin, between reality and artifice. The artist makes us play the cliché of femininity, built on the criteria of glamour and fashion, with a personal expressive language, directly addressing the central themes of contemporary culture, identity, variety, the body and sexuality, mixing glamour with the history of painting, staging the ritual of human being.

Astolfo Funes is a contemporary Latin America artist, born in Maracay in Venezuela in 1973, he lives and works in Miami in Florida. Funes's painting represents femininity and his artistic influences come from literature and artists such as Willem De Kooning, Oswaldo Vigas, but also from post-war German art for strength and dynamism and from Art Brut. His works have strong colour contrasts and his figures represent everyday life, beauty, encounters, loneliness, or other moods. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and has won awards. It is present in auction houses and public collections including: Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Maracay, Venezuela; Nelson Sanchez Chapellin Foundation.
