Description of the Artwork “Emerald”
The painting is made with acrylic in the author's technique on canvas 80х70 cm. The art work "Emerald" took 1st place at the XIV international exhibition-competition of contemporary art Ukrainian Art Week in the nomination "Abstraction". Since ancient times, the emerald was respected and revered, because it was believed that it brings wisdom, composure, comfort and hope. In addition, emerald brings happiness and luck to its owner. It is believed that with his powerful energy it helps to achieve serious results in business, success in love and even heal diseases. Many sources, including eastern horoscopes, say that it is most useful and favorable to wear an emerald for Taurus, Cancers, Lions, Archer, Aquarius and Pisces. All of them are close to nature. Emerald helps them to keep the warmth of the family hearth, love and respect.

Young Ukrainian artist. Born in 1984, Dresden, Germany. Began her career as the artist in 2012. Techniques: oil, watercolor, acryl, gouache, pencil In May took part in the project “The Falling Shadow of Mriya on Giardini Gardens” fr om Ukraine, also in the exhibition as part of the parallel program of the Venice Biennale 2019. In October participated in the exhibition at the Biennale MANIFESTA 2019. Took part in an exhibition within the framework of the parallel program of the Venice Biennale 2017 in August 2017. Julie’s artworks made in a variety of techniques and genres. They have different manners of execution, the storyline, the palette of colors, but they all share the emotion of love, with which they were made. According to the artist, a hallmark of her work has a sense-like character wh ere sensations and images form the basis of the work, as well as the material with which she works. Therefore the main target of creativity influence is not so much mind as feeling, human emotions. Art is an intuitive, unconscious character that distinguishes it the highest degree of freedom, giving free rein to the imagination game. Love - this is the concept of the artist's works.
