Description of the Artwork “Identical”
A small work from the allegorical series - "Identical", oil on canvas, 50 × 70. In this work, reflections on the same people. In 2020, it already seems an anachronism to strive for imaginary standards, external and internal - "so that, like everyone else", but there are still the same people. Part of the plums is covered with shadow - this is a rejection of enlightenment, the path to impenetrability, part of the light - they may finally come out into the light. The sizes of plums, as in all quarantine and post-quarantine still lifes, are significantly exaggerated.
