My purely charcoal created study of a white plaster Amy head bust is an academic assignment, gifted to me from the Academy of Art University, as a method of studying traditional observational and still life drawing, working purely with chiaroscuro and structural technique. This piece was created on 18" by 24" drawing paper, worked from real life observation set up by myself. This piece is quite significant to me, as it was the first fully complete charcoal drawing I ever created.
