This is a beautiful painting that encompasses the violent and peaceful way of nature. The purples and blues work well together to show the color of the water. It can be seen as both peaceful and powerful. The power of nature is undeniable, and it is shown so we can appreciate it.
I am an artist that has been doing art my entire life. I live and breathe art. There is nothing better than throwing some paint on a canvas (Or whatever you are using) and just let it work its magic. I am liberated when I throw paints around, when I mix without care. I get absorbed into a world that is my own. That is my wish and desire, to share that with the viewer. I want them to see everything, and to be transported into another world. They can make it their own, and stay there for a little bit. After I could not go to college for the first time, I had to do something different. I could not settle for your normal job, not that there is anything wrong with that. I joined the military, and I traveled and saw many awesome things. I learned even more. It made me appreciate my art that much more. I went back to school and finished it a different person. I learned that we all see things different, and it is always interesting to see what different people see when they look at my paintings. Art history to me is an important subject, I think everybody should take the time to learn about it. It is quite fascinating how much art has evolved, and is still evolving. Art is meant to heal, it is meant to change you, stir you in ways that you did not think possible. I want you to feel that, to absorb it. I want to let my art do the talking, besides, I have never been one great for conversation, that is why I let my art do the talking.
