Description of the Artwork “Wave of Emotions”
I aim to present pure emotions as honest and truthful as possible. In these days and ages, i feel like people tend to show only their happy and positive side and suppress their negative side, and it feels like one big lie for me, even though we know that human is a complex being that capable to feel a lot of different feelings at the same time. I want to embrace this human nature, and I feel that silk painting technique accommodate me, as every layer and brush stroke keep on showing no matter how many layer I add to cover it. It tends to show you that imperfection is a beautiful thing that we can't and don't to hide.

I was born on August 18th 1993 at a small town in Indonesia. As i grew up, I develop an interest towards visual art, especially painting, drawing, and graphic design. I enrolled in the Faculty of Art and Design at Bandung Institute of Technology to deepen my knowledge and skill of art. In my 4 years of majoring Textile Craft, I became fascinated by Silk Painting technique that produce magnificent colors and since then, use it as primary technique of my paintings.
