In visions of the dark night I have dreamed of joy departed— But a waking dream of life and light Hath left me broken-hearted. Ah! what is not a dream by day To him whose eyes are cast On things around him with a ray Turned back upon the past? That holy dream—that holy dream, While all the world were chiding, Hath cheered me as a lovely beam A lonely spirit guiding. What though that light, thro' storm and night, So trembled from afar— What could there be more purely bright In Truth's day-star? © EDGAR ALLAN POE
I am Igor Kozak, artist. I am a member of the Association of Free Artists of Kiev. My artwork covers the following types of genres: genre painting, landscape, still life, marine painting. I also participate in exhibitions in Spain, England, Germany, Slovakia, Italy and China. In my personal opinion, the role and mission of a true artist lies in the ability to reflect true art in an original and unique way with a passionate commitment, to bring light to the world through the beauty of paintings, a combination of shining colors / colors and craftsmanship. Pictures give people joy and optimism. The artist makes the world brighter and more colorful!
