Description of the Artwork “HAPPY DAZE”

Viewing this abstract composition in a subjective way conveys the feeling of being in a happy place. To achieve this I have used several types of acrylic paint such as metalic/fluo/heavy body that combine nicely with the textured base paint, creating the waving and swirling patterns that is the theme of this piece. This large colorful piece would look great in most interior decor projects. Acrylic painted on all sides on gallery stretched canvas with varnish for protection, it is ready to hang or framed if desired. Signed and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Rick Smith

Rick Smith, Australia

Rick Smith is an Abstract Expressionist artist with his studio and gallery in Avalon (Sydney Australia). Although he has a degree in Electronics Engineering his passion for art started in his teenage years and has now evolved into a full time profession. Ricks art is displayed in private galleries around Australia, Neutron Pty Ltd for display in their boardroom and front foyer and also the front foyer of “The Exchange” (Sydney). Inspired by artists such as Wassilly Kandinsky and Jackson Pollock his unique artwork utilises stimulating paint colours and texture which allows him the freedom to communicate ideas and emotions in a subjective way to evoke the subconscious mind of the viewer. With all of his art Rick creates work that he passionately believes would give joy to any observer.
