My name is Alexandra Romano, I am an artist living and working in Toronto, Canada. My passion is creating eye-catching artworks which include bold colour schemes; vibrant abstracts that stand out as a focal point in any space - a conversation piece. I am an abstract artist, who delights in the freedom of abstraction and the ability to explore impressionism and expressionism. Works are frequently inspired by nature, geometric elements and life all around. I work primarily with acrylics and I enjoy experimenting with oils, ink and spray paint too. I rely on a natural, intuitive approach while creating my paintings. I craftily use unorthodox tools and my signature techniques to create texture to give the piece interesting depth and a unique design. I love to experiment and be present during the whole process as I observe each piece come to life, layer by layer; it's my meditation.
