eugenia retana

Eugenia Reyes Retana was born in the city of León, Guanajuato on February 25, 1981. She lived the majority of her life in the city of Guanajuato, Gto. From her earliest years she was passionate about painting and the plastic arts. she made his first exhibition at his school at age 12. she currently lives in Mexico City. her work is contemporary and innovative, always combining styles, shapes, materials and themes to create Something new, dominates various techniques such as acrylic, watercolor, collage, graphite, among others. her inspiration comes from daily life and everything that can be found in it, from a song to the face of a person who crosses the street. Eugenia has exhibited her work in several local galleries in Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende and León, as well as in boutique hotels such as Casa Mágica (Guanajuato) and Villa Maria Crisitna (Guanajuato) during the Cervantino Festival; as in several restaurants in the city.

she studied graphic design at the Iberoamerican University of the city of León, Guanajuato. as well as many art courses she took all over the years.
