About the artist Vladimir Clavijo-Telepnev

His works participated in the auction at the PHILLIPS de Pury in 2003 New York, in 2008 London and New York, in 2010 New York, at the Gene SHAPIRO in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 New York and the HERITAGE AUCTIONS in 2011 New York. The author’s works are kept in the personal collections of Dmitry Medvedev, Nursultan Nazarbaev, Elton John, Princesses Michael and Marie-Christine of Kent and Peter Greenway. Vladimir Clavijo-Telepnev is author of the unique Eglomise technique in Photography and the founder of the direct printing on wood technique. This technique is unique development of RosNano proposed Clavijo-Telepnev to create his own projects and improve this type of printing. Since 1986, he was worked as a photojournalist for a number of Italian, French and Spanish periodicals. Simultaneously, he has taken part in painting and drawing exhibitions of Moscow artists. Since 1993, he has been a member of the international Association of Graphic Artists. Since 1996, he has been engaged in fashion and advertising photography. 1996 – Master’96 prize awarded by the advertising festival for the best ad project. Since 1999 he has conducted own photographic projects (Belgrade anti-war project with seven famous Russian artists engaged). 1996, 1998 and 2000 – participation in the International Moscow Photo Biennale organized by the Moscow House of Photography. Since 2000, he has been a member of the Union of Photographers of Russia.Since 2000, he has been teaching photography at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University. 2001 – prize for the best youth magazine cover. 2001 – participation in the Fashion and Style in Photography International Festival organized by the Moscow House of Photography; recipient of the festival’s top award “Best photo project” or his work “Benedetta Barzini Portrait”. 2001 – Kodak Prize. 2001 – opening of the author’s photo school. 2001 – release of his first album “Imperfecto”. In 2001, the Moscow House of Photography recognized him as a “classic of the Russian art photography”. In 2001, Kommersant’s ranking nominated Vladimir Clavijo-Telepnev as one of the two best photographers in Russia. 2002 – release of the second album “Impressions”. 2002 – the best photo project in the Exspo Beauty perfumery contest. Education

Vladimir Clavijo-Telepnev was born in 1962 in Moscow. In 1986, he graduated from the Moscow Printing Academy with a degree in Graphic Arts.
