Silver Lining

Bouncing back from a negative situation to a positive result... The phrase every cloud has a “silver lining” is well known to portray this. I found no better way to express this than using the silver color as the main subject. The texture is carved horizontally and vertically using a wide palette knife. The black background acrylics offsetting the silver layered on it brings out the lines and effects intertwined in this piece. I found “silver lining” to be a perfect matching name.
