The symbolism of this berry is multifaceted and all traditional world religions give the pomegranate a special place. In Christian culture, pomegranate is a symbol of the Resurrection of Christ, Easter joy, eternal life. It is one of the original Christian symbols. It is also mentioned in a number of holy books, including the Bible, where it appears as an image of beauty, as well as a symbol of the unity of the world. On many picturesque canvases of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the baby Jesus holds a pomegranate in his hand - a gift brought by Christ to humanity, a gift of eternal life. According to one legend, Noah's ark, moored at the top of Mount Ararat, was lit with a grenade. In Buddhism, pomegranate is one of the blessed fruits, along with citrus and peach. In Islam, he was considered a symbol of moral purification, a fruit that grew in Paradise. In China, it symbolizes abundance, fertility, a happy future. Also, in the East, pomegranates are called the “king of all fruit
I identify myself as a symbolist artist, using different techniques and their combination. For me, the most comfortable work is to combine oil, gilding and sculpture on canvas, combining everything in the author's technique. All works are made in one copy, have their own history of creation and symbolism. As the collections were created, exhibitions and presentations were held. I took part in annual charity events where auctions were held. Repeatedly, the paintings took part in television and video filming. In 2010, there was the first personal exhibition "Paradise" with the support of the Art Development Fund, later - group and individual exhibitions, and participation in television and mass events: Group exhibition Arts.in.ua (Fund for Promotion of Arts Development); Group exhibition M17 Contemporary Art Center (Competition of young artists); Personal exhibition Nivki-Hall Kamaliya's Charity Night; personal exhibition "Butenko Stable"; personal exhibition Horses Spirit Festival; Filming for the Mega TV channel, the "Mystic Ukraine" series of programs; photo shoot for Viva magazine; Since 2016, a participant in the annual Kamaliya's Charity night auction; Today, many of the works are in private collections: Germany, USA, India, Ukraine, UAE. I work in several directions - oil painting, bas-relief, gilding. Combining realism, gilding technique and bas-relief, I found the niche in which I am most interested in working. I attribute all my works, regardless of the execution technique, to the sphere of symbolism - where color, shape, texture have a certain influence on the space and around it. All paintings have their own idea and direction and are a self-sufficient element of interior design
