This painting describes the ancient history of Carthage, from its splendor to its utter destruction. Artist Anton Zapotochny masterfully uses modern techniques to convey the tragic beauty of ruins and the emptiness left after majestic battles. In every line and form, he tries to reproduce the drama of a vanished civilization, drawing attention to the insignificance and greatness that remained after many centuries. The production makes the viewer stop and think about how glory and greatness can be erased into dust, leaving only shadows of the past.
urodził się w mieście Zaporoże, niedaleko Dniepru, mieście bohaterów, mieście Kozaków, centrum wolności i niepodległości. Rysować zaczęłam od dzieciństwa, odkąd pamiętam, od dzieciństwa kochałam przyrodę i piękno Bożego stworzenia. Zawodowo malowałem od początku wojny, uczyniło to moim głównym zajęciem i tym samym zaryzykowałem realizację mojego dawnego marzenia, robiąc to, co kocham najbardziej.
