House on the hills

Oil on high quality linen canvas, painted plein air in summer of 2020. I was visiting a friend in the hills half an hour away from my hometown...I spent hours looking for a motive to painting and inspiration. Then I saw two trees between two houses and in the background beautiful magical mountains, the trees began to change and get their shape and color, red, orange. The clouds were calm and the sky was dark blue the mountains in the background shone with gold. When I woke up I saw this picture in front of me.
