Lake Skadar

Oil on linen canvas.. Lake Skadar is the largest lake on Balkan peninsula. The lake is rich with traces of history and valuable cultural heritage. Lake Skadar was declared a National Park in 1983. The National park is dominated by water and wetland ecosystems. Geologically created by tectonic phenomena, where water masses have created a landscape that is equally wonderful, both for plant and animal life. This painting belongs to the series of landscapes "the beauties of nature" in my surroundings. I did not want to copy nature but to take it, feel it, squeeze it through myself and my form add feelings and transfer it to the canvas. I've been researching this way of shaping nature for a long time over 12 years.
