This painting is part of the "Progression" series, which consists of 5 works produced between 2014 and 2017. "Neuronal connections and rationality 1-4" was completed the first days of 2017. Back to Taiwan for a short time, the artist follow at the end of 2016 a series of researches both theoretical and pictorial that made him navigate from sociology to psychoanalysis by the way by neuroscience. His work quickly focused on notions of determinism and our natural inability to control our lives. This work spreads from one center to the ends in an unorganized way but not randomly. The ribs are all electrical impulses to activate the muscles of an individual in action. They are the infinity of choices that we operate without realizing it and which, one by one, build a forest of actions all more related to each other. These mini unconscious actions are the true construction of our lives, of our beings.
