Akhmedov Zakir Akhmed. Nel 1955 nasce a Baku (Azerbaigian). Nel 1978 ha terminato la Scuola Statale di Disegno dell'Azerbaigian, facoltà di scultore. Nel 1988 si è laureato presso l'Istituto Statale d'Arte dell'Azerbaigian nominato da M.Aliyev. Dal 1978 fino ad oggi ha avuto luogo in numerose mostre in tutto il mondo. Membro del Commonwealth of Artists of Azerbaijan e SSR dal 1989 fino ad oggi. Autore dei numerosi monumenti. Nel 2005 premiato con il premio “Humay”. Le opere di Zakir Akhmedov contengono in collezioni private di molti paesi: Azerbaigian, Turchia, Russia, Polonia, Repubblica Ceca, Sud Africa, Francia, Germania, Inghilterra, Stati Uniti d'America ecc.
