Description de l'œuvre “Thought II”

In 'Thought II,' Sunil Shelke delves deep into the emotional undercurrents of financial transactions, breathing life into vintage currencies and transforming them into a striking contemporary portrait. Through a canvas filled with textures of paper, stamps, and decoration, Shelke challenges the viewer to discern the myriad ways in which money shapes human relationships. The use of old banking elements and a palette characteristic of comic books highlights the juxtaposition between the tangible currency and the intangible emotions, encapsulating the essence of modern life's complex interplay between love and finance.
