The work tells about an old ship that ran aground and was abandoned by the crew. The rusty side of the ship is reflected in the water and brings sadness. The picture contrasts the freedom of the picturesque sky and the constraint of an old rusty ship. The work is done in oil on canvas with a stretcher.
Painting takes a part of my life. I am inspired by the play of light and color. In my works, I strive to convey a magical glow and all the richness of colors, regardless of the variety of the palette. I am fascinated by the appearance of white in black and black in white, the appearance of unexpected colors in simple things. They change the feelings that I try to reveal and reflect on paper with a brush and paints. My work is done in oils and watercolors.
