This is one of my first urban landscape paintings of Chicago. I did this painting from a photo I shot in 1996 on a typical Saturday morning in downtown Chicago.

My compositions are usually ambitious and involve a lot of detail and information. Although a typical painting will take up to 150 hours, they are very rewarding when completed.
