Description of the Artwork “I Wish - Manjushri - Elf”
People are used to praying for peace and health to Buddha and Bodhisattvas, ignoring our inner reflections. This series “I wish” are depicting the touching Buddha statues of Yuan Dao Guanyin Temple in a realistic and simplified way. The elf of the painting reminds us that in addition to praying for the blessing of the Buddha, hopefully that we can also correspond to the Buddha’s heart and determination.
