Description of the Artwork “Ballerina. Swan Song”
Original oil painting, one of my “Ballet” series. The expression of emotions through dance art has one of the strongest impressions on people. The ballet is the highest embodiment of dance plasticity. It captivates the viewer, carries them into an amazing world of beauty, harmony and grace, addressing deep emotional impulses. All my paintings with ballerinas I paint as if "in one breath". This is an extremely inspirational topic. Going deeper into the ballet theme, I want to discover for myself and the viewer an amazing and fascinating world of sensuality, subtle emotions, poetic body language, filigree play of light and music. Gentle and sophisticated ballerinas who do not seem to obey the law of gravity, embody the human soul in its eternal quest to get rid of everyday routine, to rise above it, and to find harmony.
