About the artist

Hello my name is Natasha kraschchin, also know in my stage name Tasha Fux. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1954, and ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to be an artist. After I graduated high school I got accepted in 1971 to the finest art school in the country, and received two degrees in fine art and design after five years. I immediately started to work in the field, my first job was to design and draw on wooden souvenirs like jewelry box, and other decorative box that was very common and prestige in the Ukrainian culture. Afterwards I joined a studio for animation as an animator in Kiev, and worked there for over 20 years. I was part of a short animated film, the theme theme was about Judaism, and the name of the film was in Yiddish, and the language of the film was a mixture of Russian and Yiddish. The name of the film was bobe maises( a grandmothers tales). The film was a major success and won three awards from three different animation festivals. In 1995 I joined the cinematography organization of Ukraine, I am also a member of the universal organization " asifa", a worldwide animation organization. In 1999 I immigrated to Israel with my two kids. Even in Israel I continued to work in the art field. I worked for 10 years in a studio for art named fichy foy, and in recent years I work as a freelance for big art galleries. Through the years I also continued to create my own personal art, some of my work took part in art galleries in Israel, and some in galleries overseas. My style- I create art in a numerous styles, but my expertise and my favorite ones are modern art, especially abstract art with a touch of cubism. A big part of my work is engaging in Judaism, and Judaica because its part of my Jewish heritage and background, so this subject is very close to my heart.
