About the artist

I was born in Kiev into the family of the artistic dynasty Krasnitsky. The mother - Krasytska Sofia – graphic artist. The grandmother - Krasytska Galyna - artist. The Great-grandfather - Krasytsky Photiy was famous Ukrainian artist (24 (12) .08.1873 - 02.06.1944) - painter and graphic artist, grand-nephew of Taras Shevchenko. After completing my Master’s Degree at Kiev State Institute of Culture (1988-1993), I delved into travel and discovery of other cultures. That became my main profession: since 2002 I have been professionally engaged in travel business (in 2007 I have had graduated fr om the Institute of Tourism Management). I have started painting at the end of 2012. I've got started to get familiar with brushes and paints by myself. My first artworks were little watercolor paintings. But the real inspiration developed when I had met the talented and professional artist Alexandra Bakhina, who invited me at her workshop. Only at the age of 43 after several drawing lessons, when real professional oil paints came into my hands, its smell did its job — my story as an artist has begun. I fell in love with painting. I draw everywhere: at home, in my garden, in the office. Even on vacation while traveling, paints for drawing are “must be have” in my suitcase. My work is inspired by beauty of nature and its live creatures. My oil paintings are mostly presented in several genres: landscape, animalism, portrait and marina. I whant to show how to appreciate the beauty of life through art. Up to date I have more than 70 art works, some of them were shown at several exhibitions. I also provide my master classes wh ere I share my knowledge with people who want to express themselves and their emotions on canvas.
