Nataliia Bagatska,
Where Are You Going?..
Description of the Piece
I recall an episode fr om Lewis Carroll's "Adventure of Alice in Wonderland" when she met with the Cheshire Cat and asked him:
- Tell me, please, where should I go fr om here?
- And where do you want to get? - answered the Cat.
"I do not care ..." said Alice.
"Then it does not matter wh ere and wh ere to go," said Kot.
- ... just to get somewhere, - Alice explained.
"You'll definitely get somewhere," said Cat. - It's just long enough to go.
With this one could not agree.
The picture is made of a few abstract in saturated warm red-orange tone.
We see a lonely traveler near a forest road passing through a large clearing with lonesome low trees. Multi-layer painting on a quality canvas made of natural Italian fine-grained cotton
The first layer is made with textured paste, the following layers - oil paint on natural pigments.
The ends of the painting are painted,
