Description of the Artwork “Dive into your life”
Here is the first artwork from the series “Boomerang” (and the second in this year 2019). I do not know “how” the process of creating works of other Artists takes place, but this is my flow. I never know what it will be in the end. There is a certain vision of sensation. Not the plot, but the feeling that I “fix” on canvas with the help of technique, forms and endless layers of paint. As a rule, your view begins to walk on the canvas from the bottom left corner to the top right. So in this work you see a figure already immersed in water ... and then, as if in a reverse survey, it emerges back. The brain does not understand what the hitch is and automatically begins to lead the eye again to the left - and the figure sinks into the water ... and emerges again "in the reverse recording". And then the light refracts and you are already immersed in golden highlights, alternating with a smoky figure ... Yuliya Mikhno (Julie), Ukraine
Young Ukrainian artist. Born in 1984, Dresden, Germany. Began her career as the artist in 2012. Techniques: oil, watercolor, acryl, gouache, pencil In May took part in the project “The Falling Shadow of Mriya on Giardini Gardens” fr om Ukraine, also in the exhibition as part of the parallel program of the Venice Biennale 2019. In October participated in the exhibition at the Biennale MANIFESTA 2019. Took part in an exhibition within the framework of the parallel program of the Venice Biennale 2017 in August 2017. Julie’s artworks made in a variety of techniques and genres. They have different manners of execution, the storyline, the palette of colors, but they all share the emotion of love, with which they were made. According to the artist, a hallmark of her work has a sense-like character wh ere sensations and images form the basis of the work, as well as the material with which she works. Therefore the main target of creativity influence is not so much mind as feeling, human emotions. Art is an intuitive, unconscious character that distinguishes it the highest degree of freedom, giving free rein to the imagination game. Love - this is the concept of the artist's works.
