Description of the Artwork “LOVERS”
Daria Tkacheva’s new artwork «LOVERS» tells an abstract love story in three contrasting colours: red, white and black. Crimson is deemed the brightest tone of red colour - in this case it is the colour of Eros that symbolises deep instinctive attraction, tension and pleasure. The lovers pass through passion, conflicts and harmony - there states replace each other in a cycle, the same way as the colour palette does. Black and white accents balance out the mood of the painting and give it more depth.

Daria Tkacheva is a young abstract artist, was born in Moscow. Her works are an expression of emotions - impulsive and sometimes smooth gestures on the canvas. It makes me feel free from my mind when you can transfer everything that was inside to the canvas.
