The Night at Ivan Swimming

The picture was painted by glaze, without the use of whitewash. This makes the image look like marble. The upper part of the picture is inlaid with Swarovski crystals. I wanted to convey the magic of the night of the ancient Slavic holiday of Ivan Kupal. It is believed that herbs collected that night have a magical effect and protect against evil spirits. I painted this picture during this period, so perhaps it has the same effect.
