About the artist

Zakharchuk Oleg Kuzmich. Ukrainian artist surrealist. A graduate of the Lviv State College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Trush. Born in the town of Gorodnytsia, Zhytomyr region. Ukraine. In 1990, after the Chernobyl accident, he moved to the city of Mariupol where he lives today. He worked as a teacher of drawing and drawing, as well as an artist designer in the Iskra culture house in the city of Mariupol. Currently a pensioner, married, has two sons. The main direction of painting is modern surrealism. Zakharchuk Oleg has more than 70 original works in his collection, mainly oil on canvas, as well as graphics. The main part of the work was created by the author between 1991 and 2003. Zakharchuk Oleg has his own unique style, and therefore cannot be confused with other authors. Basically this is a fantastic mystery. Fairy-tale characters are intertwined with symbolic objects, elements of nature, and even in-everything is unclear with what. It is surrounded by characters that their essence is encrypted. Each work forces one to consider it for a long time, to think: what the author wanted to say.
