This work is made of fireclay, fired to a sixth cone. I'm fascinated by polychrome sculpture, and ceramics is one of those materials that gives a huge range of variations in color and surface texture. That's why I experiment a lot. This work contains glazes made of ash with various pigments and oxides. The sculpture has been fired multipul times. It will complement any room. When transporting, I make individual foam cushions for the work. This method is the best way to transport delicate items
We are a creative couple from Ukraine. Nadiia Otriazha and Fedir Bushmanov have been working together since 2018. They have exhibited their work in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, and Croatia. They created a museum in Dnipro (Ukraine). They are now making sculptures with bright colors and multi-layered finishes. They explore how colors affect perception, creating volume, dynamics, and new visual effects. Their experiments with color give their sculptures a unique character and emotional depth.
