I scatter poems throughout the city. For years, I have been scattering poems throughout the city. My poems are not written with words, but with images, colors, shapes, lights, and interventions. This is how I understand my art: as a way of photographing, capturing moments and feelings, and transforming them into new possibilities of seeing. My inspiration is born from the city and the experiences it offers. São Paulo, other Brazilian cities, and places I have visited outside of Brazil become raw material for a creative process in which photography goes beyond recording reality and begins to construct new narratives. My art was also born from a personal need: to save what was lost within me. Creating became a way to breathe, to reorganize feelings, and to find beauty amidst the often chaotic daily life of urban landscapes. I seek to create spaces of respite within the routine. Through photography, image manipulation, colors, drawings, and interventions, I transform landscapes and reinvent everyday elements, seeking to provoke in the observer a pause, a question, or simply a moment of contemplation. I believe that art should dialogue with people. It should be close, democratic, and accessible, capable of meeting the gaze of someone passing hurriedly down a street, entering a room, or simply allowing themselves to observe an image. My work seeks to bring more life to the emptiness that often accompanies daily life. I want to create possibilities for affection, encounter, and reflection, allowing each person to establish their own relationship with the work and find in it something that makes sense for their own story. I consider myself privileged to be able to transform my perception of the world into creative work. For me, creating is a way of returning color to life, reinventing what seems common, and discovering poetry where, often, no one else is looking. My art is just that: a collection of visual poems scattered throughout the world, waiting to find new gazes.
