Olga Nekrasova is a Russian-born visual artist working with photography, based in France since 2020. Her practice investigates bodily intelligence and the inner emotional landscape, with a particular focus on the visual expression of emotions and the dialogue between embodied experience and the collective unconscious. Her artistic approach has been shaped by her personal experience of migrating to France and the isolation imposed by the pandemic. This period prompted the search for an authentic visual language capable of containing intense inner states and engaging them through image, gesture, and metaphor. Olga’s work is rooted in intuition and a heightened sensitivity to subtle bodily and emotional processes. Through a restrained aesthetic and metaphorical narratives, she develops a practice of introspective conceptual photography and psychorealism. Her research explores inner states as forms of reality, attunement with the world, and continuous transformation. Olga Nekrasova’s work has been exhibited at festivals and galleries, shortlisted for international competitions, and featured on professional platforms.
