Vasilenko Ulyana Vladimirovna was born in Balashikha, Moscow Region, in a family distinguished by its teaching traditions. She showed a love for drawing and fine arts from childhood and developed it under the guidance of the Nazarenko family's teachers, Natalia Nikolaevna and Nikolai Vasilievich, at the local "Center for Arts and Crafts." After receiving her basic education at the University of Railway Engineering, she graduated from the Stroganov Academy and later completed a program for teachers at the Pedagogical University. All this time, fine art has gone hand in hand with applied activities, and later with pedagogical activities. Working at a school and an art studio is a good family tradition that takes up all of a teacher's time and heart. Personal creativity is imbued with images of the hometown and everyday motifs. Techniques are predominantly easel-based, using various materials and their combinations. Etudes created during travels occupy a special place.
