I painted a woman in traditional Sardinian dress, a symbol of an ancient, proud and silent land. But I chose not to stay within the confines of realism. The face, with its pink, purple and gold tones, is not a provocation: it is an encounter. Between root and vision. Between memory and dream. It is Sardinia that allows itself to be reinterpreted, that remains itself even when it changes skin. I did not want to distort, but to listen. And to dare, with respect.

My name is Stefania, aka RedRoxana. I've always been drawn to processes, not just results: understanding how something is born, how it takes shape, how it transforms. Art, for me, has never been decoration, but language. After years away from my creative pursuits, I understood something simple and radical: creating wasn't a hobby, it was a vital necessity. My studies in symbolic and contemplative disciplines naturally intertwined with watercolor, giving rise to a precise visual exploration: images that speak through symbols, rhythm, silence, and color. Today, my work focuses on the concept of ikigai and the search for meaning through symbolic language. My watercolors are born as visual talismans: works designed to accompany, evoke harmony, and remind the viewer of what truly matters. RedRoxana Art is this: a place where art becomes an inner quest, and color, a bridge to one's center.
