Even on the darkest night, when there is no light and no stars visible, you can still illuminate your path with the inner glow of your soul. My favorite Ukrainian tradition is connected with the pumpkin. As in many nations, in Ukraine, the parents of the boy and girl could arrange a wedding without their consent, but if the girl did not like the young man, she could give him a pumpkin as a sign of refusal and then the wedding was canceled. Tetiana Bogdanova is Ukrainian artist. She was born on November 2, 1986 in Poltava, Ukraine. In 2009, she graduated from the Poltava National Technical University named after Yu. Kondratyuk, Faculty of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts. In 2009, she moved to Kyiv, where she still lives. Tetiana's paintings are filled with positive emotions and bright colors, usually portraits of young women with fruits, desserts and berries are depicted in the paintings. Tetiana's paintings are in private collections in the USA, Japan, Austria, Slovenia, Germany and Ukraine.
