This painting captures the mesmerizing interplay between substance and reflection, where Wawel Castle emerges softly through rippling water. The fluidity of the oil medium conveys movement and tranquility, while subtle color shifts evoke a sense of timelessness. The work invites viewers to contemplate the delicate balance between reality and its mirrored echo.

In my work I get inspiration from nature and culture, which is what I see, feel and recognize consequences. It’s interesting that you can see in a split second image that remains so firmly in the subconscious that you can not resist – you just have to paint it. I often observe phenomena such as reflections, arising from light impact. I also use sketches and photographs, but the most important is the memory of what intrigued me. The reality presented by me is a apparent reality, reflected in, reduced by the light, but still existing.
