This painting captures the gentleness and serenity of a moment by the sea in Odessa, where the beach and ocean merge beneath a setting sky. The warm hues evoke the heat of summer and the tranquility of holidays, inviting the viewer to experience the relaxation and peace of a moment spent outdoors. The human figures and reflections in the water add a vibrant and realistic dimension, paying homage to the ephemeral beauty of nature and shared moments.

Born in Moulins (F 03000), where I practiced a profession that took me to many, sometimes far-flung countries, I now divide my time between Vichy and the Montagne Bourbonnaise, where my studio is located. Direct contact: ytaboulot@orange.fr A natural aptitude for drawing, I learned some basic painting skills from an artist neighbor, and I abandoned pencils for brushes, continuing as an autodidact, following my own desires, colors, and styles. I prefer acrylics, and my styles vary depending on the moment: illustrations, abstractions, bodies and faces. Finally, undoubtedly influenced by my technical training and my travels, my work is based on a geometry of shapes and lines to give life to works that are most often figurative and rather colorful. I feel a certain satisfaction in knowing that some of my works are far from home: Shanghai, Bratislava, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Liège, and more recently in New Zealand. Others are all over France. Also, of course! "Artist with the 2019 Akoun rating, reassessed in 2022. Awards: Winner of the 2019 Painter Prize awarded by the city of F-03800 Gannat." Direct contact: ytaboulot@orange.fr
