This painting captures the quiet, autumnal magic of a forest. Using acrylics, pencil, and colored pencils, I combined vivid detail with the delicate impression of nature. I wanted to convey a sense of tranquility and, at the same time, the pulsating vibrancy of the forest – a place where thoughts find peace and new energy flows. This artwork brings warmth and natural power into any room. I painted this work from my own photo taken after a walk by the Schiederweiher. Schiederweiher was voted the most beautiful place in Austria in 2018. The painting is pre-primed (smooth surface) and finished with a glossy varnish for protection and enhanced color brilliance.

I am Valentin Kern and I primarily use acrylic paints. My artistic journey began through art therapy after a difficult phase. My works feature detailed, realistic compositions, often depicting cities, landscapes, or fantasy landscapes, occasionally with abstract accents, and I strive for my paintings to exhibit a three-dimensionality. Through my painting, I aim to convey deep emotions and new perspectives on the world, with my authentic passion and dedicated devotion palpable in every artwork. I also occasionally create other forms of art besides paintings, such as pyrography on wood, ceramics, and sometimes work with metal leaf.
