About the artist

I, Alexey Alexandrovich Prozhoga, was born in Kyiv on September 14, 1993. I studied in Podil and Lvivska Square. My art education included four years at the Artists' House in early childhood. Largely self-taught, I developed various techniques throughout my life, preferring graphic art using marker pens, ink, and rust dissolved in water as a golden or brownish-red pigment. I also paint oil on fiberboard and canvas. I have a specialized education as an engineer and technologist, although I have never worked professionally, preferring to pursue my passion in my free time, changing jobs every couple of months and working part-time as a tattoo artist from home. I was inspired by the works of Giger, Beksinski, Kirk, Barlow, and other various sources of dark aesthetics. I was also influenced by occultism, symbolism, and fractal geometry.
