Description of the Artwork “Path • Light Blue”

You do not always notice how you change while in motion. What once seemed like an obstacle later becomes experience, and dead ends turn into points of reflection. Sometimes the "Path" leads not to a destination, but to the ability to see yourself differently. "Path • Light Blue" is the third fragment of the "Seven Paths of One Direction" heptaptych. Maintaining an inseparable link with the overall concept, each painting reflects a distinct segment of the Path, whether already traveled or just beginning to emerge. Please note: The artwork is not varnished. The contrast between matte and glossy surfaces creates a living volume under different lighting angles, which guarantees protection against digital copying.

About the artist
ValerI KlepA

ValerI KlepA, Ukraine

ValerI KlepA — an artist working in the space of conceptual abstract painting. Her work originated at the intersection of philosophical thought and deep internal states: the moment of choice, the perception of time, and personal transformation. At the basis of her artistic method lies the design of an internal structure. Through sketches and precise proportions, the author builds a calibrated rhythm in which a philosophical concept takes visual form. Such preparation allows the artist to "subdue chaos" and create a space where every detail is filled with deep meaning. ValerI KlepA embodies her ideas in the format of a heptaptych — a monumental art object consisting of seven independent canvases. In professional practice, such structures may be described as series of works, however, in this case, we are talking about a solid, more complex modular system of the author's composition, where individual elements exist as parts of a single compositional solution. The artist's projects acquire integrity through seven author's senses, which, according to her, are being engaged in the process of creating works: • sight — to fix a fleeting image; • hearing — to hear the voice of the canvas itself; • smell — which connects her with the material through the scents of paints; • touch — allowing to feel the texture with fingertips; • sense of color — used for setting precise accents; • sense of space — for building the architecture of the work; • and, finally, her soul — without which art is silent. Completing the work, ValerI KlepA "seals" her feelings in the painting with an author's relief logo — a transparent symbol confirms the authenticity of her works, but does not set the only correct position in space. The author's intent is preserved in the work, but remains open for interpretation. The artist's projects are built as modular systems — heptaptychs can be both monolithic and divided into separate canvases to create new visual combinations. ValerI KlepA creates art as a space of internal thinking, where form becomes a way of fixing feelings, states, and thoughts that are difficult to express in words.
