Description of the Artwork “Liberation of the mind opus 6”
Acrylic and oil paint and gouache on preprocessed canvas in wooden frame. I do have a name for my new paintings: Abstract Symbolic and mystical Art. In fact the enjoying of making them and for all undergoing them in different light circumstances are sort of feed for te brains. Composing artworks is for me almost a philosophical question. Transferring my thoughts into some kind of metaphoric representations help me to express them through strong and compassing images.
Geert Lemmers, Netherlands
Born in the Netherlands, I studied photography and photographic Art and worked as a freelancer for magazines and fashion photography before focusing on my artistic career in 2008, winning the same year the professional art-prize in my region. In all those years my work was honored so many times and since last year my artworks has been featured in an several art magazines.
