I love to experiment. Over the past few years, I've been exploring modern and abstract art, though it wasn’t successful at first—it resulted in countless ruined canvases and wasted paint. But I’ve finally arrived at a solution worth pursuing further, something I want to delve deeper into. The sponge is cut into an unusual yet intriguing shape. It’s 5 cm thick and protected with three layers of traditional, time-tested sealants, making it highly durable while still retaining its 'spongy' essence. Since the painting has an irregular shape, its approximate dimensions are: - 61x58 cm Designed to install flush against walls without framing, it blurs boundaries between painting and object. It is a series of oil-on-sponge paintings. This one will be titled Sponge 2, with the subsequent works named Sponge 3, Sponge 4, and so on.
